What about sitting??

In the beginning people were sitting on the naked ground, on rocks or on tree trunks that had toppled over. Fortunately, those times are long gone. Today, there is a large variety of seats such as chairs, stools, benches, armchairs or sofas made from rather different materials.

For the summer of 2015 we like to invite professional working applied artists and designers to show their seats – either one-offs or small series – at Handwerksform Hannover. Pieces of work should demonstrate contemporary, innovative or unusual design. We are looking forward to applications both from Germany and from abroad.
